What is illustrating for Mustache Maniacs Film Co. like?

Short answer: not much different from illustrating for another studio. With that said, we do have a fully digital form of communication, something that most studios already have. While you would be working mostly independently, you would be sending your work online via e-mail.

Why do I have to sign a NDA?

We have what is called the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Cinematic Universe, and in order to maintain its integrity, we have created a story bible that covers everything that has been established so far. An illustrator would have limited access to this story bible to inform artistic decisions about pre-established material, as well as add new material. However, there are details in the story bible that refer to upcoming projects, something that we have kept behind closed doors. By signing the NDA, you agree to not disclose this information on our official wiki or anywhere else.

Would I have the full permission of Mustache Maniacs Film Co. to show my work created for them in my portfolio?

Sure. Go ahead. We don't want to step on anyone's toes or leave anyone out to dry, so we like to give credit where it is due. If you make work for us, you will be fully credited and have permission to show it off in your portfolio. We will, however, maintain the right to show off your work when appropriate.

How would I communicate with a team for a project?

We use e-mail for all of our correspondence, so if you need to contact anyone with a question about what is needed for a particular piece, just contact the person in question via e-mail.
